Brussels Economic Forum
On the 25th of May 2010, the Zlin Region in Brussels attended the 11th edition of the Brussels Economic Forum organised by the European Commission to debate about the most effective strategies to overcome the present financial crisis
The Brussels Economic Forum is the EU’s most important platform to discuss on economic issues. Created in 2000 in the wake of the introduction of euro on the market, it has become an annual event for stimulating the exchange of visions on the economic challenges facing the European Union. Actually, the Forum provides an ideal occasion to meet international experts who include government authorities, EU officers, financial institutions, social partners, academics and media. In fact, at the Forum, the Representatives of the Zlin Region met once again macroeconomist Zaharadnik who came to attend the works.
The Forum lasted two days and the Office monitored all the sessions.
